Behaviour Interactive launches Meet Your Maker worldwide on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox

**Montréal, CA, 20 Juin 2023** — Independent Canadian game developer Behaviour Interactive is excited to reveal its first major content update for Meet Your Maker which will be available June 27th on all platforms. Sector 1: Dreadshore will introduce a new environment and expand the game's toolbox of traps, guards, weapons, suits, and blocks to give players more ways than ever to engineer or evade death. To celebrate the launch of this game-changing content, the Meet Your Maker team will offer players the chance to claim the DLC’s Arsenal Pack for free during the first two weeks following release, until July 10th 11:59PM EDT.

**Build and raid in a completely new environment**

The new DLC will enhance the game’s co-op and single-player experience with a foggy, menacing new environment for players to immerse themselves in. Far from the Red Sands, on the murky remains of the New England coastline lies Dreadshore, home to a sinister Sanctuary situated in a repurposed lighthouse. Beneath its surface, a vast network of prisons and laboratories were built where unspeakable scientific experiments were conducted on hundreds of captive clones.

This new environment, with its gloomy, oppressive coastal flourishes, will be visually unlike anything seen before in Meet Your Maker. It arrives with a new themed Deco Pack, and an Arsenal Pack which includes a new Custodian, trap, guard, and weapon:

**1. NEW DECO PACK: Tempest Cove**

Players will be able to build Outposts using a brand-new free deco pack that matches the visual themes of the Dreadshore. Rusted metal railings, water-damaged wood, bellows that fill and deflate, and a set of decals featuring the salt-worn designs of a coastal shelter will give Builders the freedom to create a completely new atmosphere for their Outposts.

**2. NEW CUSTODIAN: Nautilus**

A Custodian suit with disturbing origins tied to the Dreadshore will also be available to players. According to local urban legend, Nautilus was said to have emerged from the lighthouse Sanctuary, dripping blood, wearing what resembled an ancient diving suit. With its hulking profile, this new Custodian suit enhances the effects of defensive weaponry, giving players a whole new way to approach challenging Outposts.

**3. NEW TRAP : Sentry Beam**

Builders will also gain a brand-new trap, complete with mods, that opens the door to incredible new kills and darkly-creative trap combos.

The Sentry Beam, developed to contain the lighthouse Sanctuary's prisoners, uses motion tracking to lock onto a target and emit a narrow beam of super-heated amplified light. The trap’s rapid delivery makes it an excellent choice for engaging fast moving targets. Should the beam miss its mark, it will ricochet multiple times, providing even more opportunity for a kill.

**4. NEW GUARD : Ravager**

A vicious new guard, the Ravager, will be introduced for both Builders to command, and Raiders to contend with.  
 
A disturbing byproduct of the lighthouse Sanctuary’s genetic experiments, The Ravager simultaneously fires several projectiles in a scattershot attack that’s more difficult to evade than a single bolt.

**5. NEW WEAPON: Demolition Cannon**

Raiders will gain another powerful weapon to add to their loadout when braving Meet Your Maker’s toughest Outposts. Powerful and portable, the Demolition Cannon delivers an explosive payload in a reusable shell for a localized blast that causes tremendous damage.

This new update doesn’t just introduce fresh new ways to build and raid deadly fortresses, it also comes with several quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes to make Meet Your Maker even better: 

- For starters, the game will now recognize kills against Raiders who force quit or otherwise disconnect from the game, giving Builders a more accurate representation of how deadly their base is;
- Another highly requested improvement gives Builders the ability to refill Prestige 10 bases forever and keep them online; 
- Other notable updates include a rebalancing of ranking tiers, updated tutorials, and Phoenix Pods being added to player’s inventory by default.

**Montreal, Canada – January 25th, 2023 –** For the first time ever, Dead by Daylight delivers a direct continuation to its latest Chapter with the release of Tome 14: BETRAYAL, out now. Players will be drawn deeper into the medieval world introduced in the Forged in Fog Chapter with chilling new tales for The Knight and Vittorio Toscano. Featuring medieval-inspired cosmetic rewards and Rift challenges centered around The Knight and Vittorio, BETRAYAL is the perfect way for fans to forge connections with the newest Killer and Survivor. The release also includes a Lunar New Year in-game Event, along with a Resident EvilTM Collection tied to the celebrations.

Fresh off Forged in Fog’s November release, Tome 14: BETRAYAL continues the compelling tale of its medieval characters. ##### **Welcome to the New Rift** 

Players will have plenty of new features to tinker with in the Archives Tome 15 release. The new Archives Tome will  showcase Cosmetics and Charms drawn from the memories and lives of The Skull Merchant, Thalita and Renato Lyra – stars of the latest Dead by Daylight Chapter. These will also appear as rewards from The Rift.  

Along with the new Rift comes the Deep Rift (Bonus tiers), available following the completion of Tier 70, emphasized by a new golden glow that indicates its special tiers and extended rewards to unravel that are 100% exclusive. 

##### **Beached Fragments of the Past** 

Tome 15: ASCENSION brings a new Archives challenge to The Entity’s Realm: players will find image fragments randomly in Maps. They’ll need to piece them together to unlock more lore. The best part of the challenge is that it isn’t role specific! All players need to do to complete the challenge is either to deposit the fragments or escape alive with them.  

**Tome 15: ASCENSION** is available tomorrow, April 19th at 11:00am EDT via Steam, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, Windows Store and Nintendo Switch.   

##### **Fashion-Forward** 

Available today, Dead by Daylight will receive a slew of Cosmetic Collections for plenty of Survivors and Killers. Players looking for more casual looks for their Tools of Torment characters will be delighted by the beachy-chic Tools of Torment Collection, composed of the Cyber Assassin Outfit for The Skull Merchant, the Family Reunion for Thalita Lyra, and the Family Dinner for Renato Lyra. 

The Wasteland Collection, brings dilapidated-chic aesthetics to Felix’s Downfall Remainder Outfit, Haddie’s Wilderness Survival Outfit, as well as The Knight’s Grim Campaign Outfit.

Dead by Daylight™ Introduces Exciting Changes With Its Newest Archives Tome: Ascension 


**Montréal, Canada – July 26, 2023 –**  Dead by Daylight’s newest Tome 16: EXISTENCE draws players deeper into the terrifying world of End Transmission, its latest Chapter. Those who rise to the Rift’s many challenges will be treated to chilling new memories for The Singularity and Gabriel Soma, as well as special rewards, including the Very Rare Tough Guy Outfit for the one and only Nicolas Cage.  

 

#### Tome 16: EXISTENCE 

Fresh off End Transmission’s release, Tome 16: EXISTENCE continues the compelling tale of its space colonizing characters. Players are invited to follow HUX-A7-13, also known as The Singularity, as it gains sentience, begins to question its purpose, and resents being the tool of an inferior species – humans. Then, descend into Gabriel Soma’s mind and examine some memory discrepancies, and the upcoming realization that everything he remembers might not be as it seems. Players are invited to progress through the Rift and the Deep Rift, to complete brand-new gameplay Challenges, and earn sci-fi inspired Cosmetic rewards for Gabriel Soma, The Singularity, The Artist, Haddie Kaur, and more. 

 
#### New features & updates 

A slew of new features and updates accompany the new Tome release on July 26th at 11 AM ET.  

##### Successful report feedback 

 

Reporting players that don’t comply with Dead by Daylight’s game rules is crucial. Hence, the team has designed a “Successful Report” feature, letting players see if their past report(s) has led to a ban, along with the reason for banning. The feedback messages will also apply to both temporary and permanent bans, given through problematic behavior like harassment or cheating.  

 

##### Coldwind Map balance update 

The Fractured Cowshed and Rancid Abattoir Maps have been analyzed and reworked thoroughly to adjust tiles and create a more balanced experience for both Killer and Survivors.  

 

##### The Onryo update 

The Onryo is a terrible foe, with the powerful ability to project through Televisions and a dangerous special affliction known as Condemned. The Condemned status effect can stack up to 7 – where a Survivor will automatically be downed and subject to be killed -, which can be accumulated by interacting with The Onryo’s power through the TVs, retrieving a VHS Tape, being hit or turning off a TV.  

 

The updates to The Onryo will push Survivors to think twice before taking a hit of focusing on the VHS Tapes, as Sadako will now be able to see which survivors hold a tape on the HUD when teleporting. This new change will allow Killer mains to choose whether to concentrate on hits – to increase the Survivors’ Condemned stacks – or teleport as much as possible to maintain global pressure on the whole map during a match. 

 

The Onryo update will certainly raise the stakes for Survivors facing Sadako, while simultaneously making matches more strategy-driven for Killer mains. 

 

#### It’s GRILLy coming back 

You read that right! The Scorching BBQ Event is making a comeback in The Entity’s Realm from August 3rd until August 17th. Back by popular demand, players will be able to enjoy many themed in-game such as the Margarita Generators and the Grill Hooks, as well as a slew of smoking Outfits and Charms.

This summer, players are encouraged to turn up the heat in game with some unmissable Collections.  

##### Nicolas Cage Essentials Collection 

A star of his status has no shortage of style, and the Nicolas Cage Essentials Collection introduces two of his iconic looks into The Fog: the Sunset Racer Outfit and the Gorgon Drip Outfit. The two Very Rare Outfits are now available (July 27th at 12:00am JST) for purchase in the in-game store. 





##### Artists From The Fog Collection 

The *Artists From The Fog Collection* will be available for purchase on August 1st, and set the spotlight on Dead by Daylight’s incredibly talented community and features the following frightening & gorgeous outfits:

- The **Doll Collector** Outfit for The Huntress, designed by Jay from the USA.

    - Play the **DEAD BY DAYLIGHT** mode five times to earn a **DEAD BY DAYLIGHT**-themed spray item 

    - Accumulate 10 total kills as a Killer and receive a Nurse **(DEAD BY DAYLIGHT** character) mask item 

 

**NEW STATE MOBILE x DEAD BY DAYLIGHT**

- **Killer Halloween Costumes**: During the collaboration, players can obtain exclusive **DEAD BY DAYLIGHT** cosmetic items to add some frightening horror to their Halloween costumes this year. **DEAD BY DAYLIGHT**-themed in-game items and collaboration crates will be available for all players from Oct. 20 through Nov. 23. **Montreal, Canada – February 15th, 2023 –** Dead by Daylight’s 27th Chapter **Tools Of Torment** returns to modern times, introducing some twisted new tech to The Entity’s Realm. Players can step into the tactical boots of **The Skull Merchant**, a brutal new Killer, or test the bond between **Thalita and Renato Lyra**, siblings fighting for their lives in The Fog. Tools Of Torment also brings an update to the Shelter Woods Map which will now include **The Skull Merchant’s Hunting Camp**.

##### Modern Slasher, Modern Tools 


**The Skull Merchant**, known within the business world as Adriana Imai, is Dead by Daylight’s first original modern female slasher. A wealthy high-powered tech executive, she splits her life between aggressively buying and absorbing smaller companies as her public persona, and quenching her bloodlust in the guise of her alter ego. For The Skull Merchant, the thrill is truly in the hunt. With designs on becoming an apex hunter in a world of prey, she dedicates her ample resources towards the search for worthy adversaries to pit herself against.  

 

The Skull Merchant’s Power is **Eyes in the Sky**. Another Dead by Daylight milestone, Eyes in the Sky puts modern tech in a Killer’s hands for the first time, allowing her to position 4 Drones to surveil Survivors. While The Skull Merchant certainly has the means of purchasing the best of the best, she seeks to connect with every kill by building these Drones herself. Each Drone is crafted around the skull of a former victim, combining bone and tech to achieve a grisly handmade quality. Survivors will need to strategize on ways to avoid and disable these hovering horrors before their maker is alerted… 

 

##### Blood Bonds 

 

Hailing from Brazil, the sister and brother duo of **Thalita and Renato Lyra** are the first Survivor siblings to be pulled into The Fog together. A direct contrast of values from the brutal single-mindedness of The Skull Merchant, Thalita and Renato served as beacons of light within their community, using their kite-flying business to mentor children from the area. Positive, creative, and caring, working as a team is second nature to the siblings, making them ideal additions to any group of Survivors.  

 

These qualities are best reflected in the unique Teamwork Perks, which benefit those who choose to work together. 

 

##### Deadly Luxury 

 

**The Skull Merchant** has set up her **Hunting Camp** in the existing Map of** MacMillan Estate’s Shelter Woods**. Formed from multiple connected shipping containers dropped into an area, The Hunting Camp is a true representation of both sides of Adriana Imai’s twisted world. The upper container is the Killer’s executive suite: clean, luxurious, and equipped with only premium commodities. Beneath it lies the Grim Workshop. Bathed in oil and blood, this is where The Skull Merchant tinkers to build her tools… and where she also houses many of her gruesome trophies.

The newest Killer to step into the Fog is The Skull Merchant. The latest DLC also presents siblings Thalita and Renato Lyra, community-driven Survivors of Brazilian lineage. Along with the highly anticipated original Chapter comes a wide array of new Cosmetics, including Very Rare outfits for The Skull Merchant, Thalita and Renato, as well as two new Collections coming later this Spring.

#### Catch and Slash 

The Skull Merchant is an apex hunter who uses macabre technology to spin a web of surveillance. Thanks to her Drones – *hand-crafted using the remains of her victims, no less* – she has a constant source of information at her disposal.   

Since The Skull Merchant established her hunting base in **Shelter Woods**, players will, from now on, encounter the map with her luxurious but gruesome amenities. This new concept of adding a tile into an existing map, changing its layout permanently, is an additional innovative feature brought on by **Tools Of Torment**.  

#### Better Together 

Growing up, siblings Thalita and Renato would bicker a lot and used their shared passion for kite fighting to settle their petty squabbles. From there, both developed a special bond, from which their Survivor perks stem from. These Teamwork Perks are geared towards collaboration and activate as long as Thalita or Renato remain in proximity with another Survivor. After healing a Survivor, Thalita's **Teamwork: Power of Two** generates a movement speed boost for the healed Survivor and herself. After being healed by a fellow Survivor, Renato's **Teamwork: Collective Stealth** hides both sets of Scratch Marks, provided the two players stay close together.       

#### Slaying Season 

The Skull Merchant and the Siblings are the star of a new Collection of Exclusive Outfits to celebrate the Chapter’s release. Fans can get their hands on a Very Rare Cosmetic aptly named Encroaching Darkness for The Skull Merchant, from the *Sonhadores Sombrios* Collection and inspired by the dark and horrifying manga created by her late father. Thalita and Renato can be adorned in their Very Rare Outfits from the *Family Album* Collection. Thalita wears the Sibling's Connection Cosmetic, consisting of a tropical two-piece swimsuit while Renato's Sibling's Trust Cosmetic is composed of a kite surfing short with a print reminiscent of sea waves. 

Players will be able to enjoy two more exciting Collections in the upcoming weeks: starting March 21, several Survivors and Killer will receive new, flashy, fashionable, but equally practical *Techwear* Cosmetics. Starting in early April, fans will be able to dress their Killers and Survivors in a Collection straight out of Wonderland (yes, yes!).

Dead by Daylight’s yearly tradition of announcing big surprises during its anniversary broadcast is here, and once again, the game is celebrating in style. Details of its next original Chapter, **End Transmission**, have been revealed along with a slate of other projects that will expand the Dead by Daylight world. Fans also learned about exciting new Collections coming to the DbD Store with music legends **Iron Maiden** and **Slipknot**, as well as an exciting partnership with videogame royalty **Ikumi Nakamura**. Lastly, in a twist no players saw coming, iconic actor **Nicolas Cage** will be joining the Realm of The Entity.  
 
 
#### Kicking off Year 8 

The Dead by Daylight team has planned tons of exciting content, including upgrades to existing gameplay mechanics and new quality-of-life additions.  

 

In the coming year, fans can expect four new Chapters but in a surprising twist, they can also expect two additional Chapters that are Survivor-only. Dead by Daylight’s next Chapter: End Transmission is an original one that promises to keep players on their toes. It will be followed by the addition of icon Nicolas Cage as a Survivor in the game. Then, two licensed Killers will be joining the game. Comes January, you can expect our last Survivor-only Chapter to be released. Lastly, and before the next Anniversary, an Original Chapter will also see the light of day.  

 

#### End Transmission  
The new Dead by Daylight Chapter, END TRANSMISSION, introduces sci-fi horror to the acclaimed action horror game. With a new Map, Toba Landing, set on a mysterious and terrifying planet, the Chapter takes players into a unique biome with menacing flora and an atmosphere unlike anything on Earth. The newest Killer, The Singularity, is a monstrous amalgamation of restructured organic matter and machine parts seeking to become the perfect lifeform. Hope rests with new Survivor Gabriel Soma, a talented technician whose determination helped him escape The Singularity and avoid the terrible fate that befell his crew.

In his deadliest role yet, the award-winning actor will step into The Fog as himself, yet another Survivor doomed to fight for his life in The Entity’s Realm. Players can learn more about this thrilling addition on July 5th.   

 

 

#### Fashion forward 
Exciting new cosmetics are on the way! The Dead by Daylight team is delighted to honor metal legends Iron Maiden and Slipknot with their own Collections. The Iron Maiden Collection is inspired by Eddie, the band’s figurehead, and its numerous appearances on the group’s album artwork, while the Slipknot Collection features 9 iconic masks that pay tribute to Slipknot's members. Stay tuned for more details.  

 

The upcoming Artists from The Fog Collection sets the spotlight on Dead by Daylight’s incredibly talented community, and features 4 creators from Canada, the United States, Poland and Spain designing Outfits for two Killers and two Survivors. The fifth artist hails from Japan and is none other than the colorful Creative Director, Ikumi Nakamura, who designed Cosmetics for The Oni, The Legion, and Yui Kimura. The 7-Outfit Artists From The Fog Collection will be available later this summer.  

 

Lastly, fans can expect another major addition to the store offering in the next year with a Collection that will be nostalgic for long-time followers of Behaviour Interactive’s work. Naughty Bear, the beloved deadly plushy going on a wild rampage, will be making its way to the game in the form of an Outfit for The Trapper, complete with a unique Mori.   

#### What Lies Ahead 
To close off this eventful roundup of news, the team at Behaviour Interactive is proud to present several upcoming projects that will push the boundaries of the Dead by Daylight world. These projects will expand the mythology of Dead by Daylight beyond the core game, offering players more paths into The Fog than ever before.  

The Dead by Daylight team is thrilled to announce that a brand new single-player interactive story game is in development from Supermassive Games, the acclaimed studio behind Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology, and The Quarry. The game will offer players an intense narrative experience filled with powerful life-or-death choices set within the backdrop of Dead by Daylight. More information on this project will be revealed later this year. 

Since joining the Behaviour Interactive family, the Midwinter Entertainment team has been hard at work on an exciting new game set in the Dead by Daylight universe. This multiplayer PVE game will tackle themes of greed and lust for power, with teams of up to 4 players taking on a strange new corner of The Entity’s Realm. 

This past March, Behaviour Interactive announced its collaboration with Hollywood powerhouses Atomic Monster and Blumhouse to develop a feature film adaptation of Dead by Daylight. The recruitment process for the film's director and screenwriter is currently under way. More details to come. 

Last, the awaited Issue 1 of the much-anticipated Dead by Daylight comic book, published in collaboration with Titan Comics, will be available at retailers and digitally in early June.

With a new Map exploring a mysterious and terrifying planet housing the remnants of an ancient civilization, END TRANSMISSION takes players into a unique biome with menacing flora and atmosphere unlike anything on Earth. The newest Killer to step into The Fog, **The Singularity**, is a monstrous amalgamation of restructured organic matter and machine parts seeking to assimilate all organic life and become the perfect lifeform.  The latest Chapter also presents new Survivor **Gabriel Soma**, a talented technician with keen senses and determination that helped him survive The Singularity and avoid a terrible fate.   

 

#### Strange new world 

Players are invited to discover a brand-new, otherworldly planet. The new Map, **Toba Landing**, is composed of three notable areas.  The first features buildings left from a greedy corporation named Huxlee whose goal was to explore and exploit new worlds. The second, an ominous jungle and the third, some remnants of an ancient civilization. Navigating this unknown world will prove as much of a challenge as evading the Killer.  

 

Players must beware, as anything on Toba Landing seems like it will try to hurt you or kill you.  The Entity’s grasp is infinite. 

 

#### Spread & Slipstream 

**The Singularity** is an enlightened AI corrupted by alien technology that can spy on Survivors anywhere on the map. It’s an efficient killing machine of high intellect, able to spread its presence through restructured organic matter with the help of its **BioPods**.   

Placeable on vertical surfaces, The Singularity can transfer its consciousness to the BioPods to spy on Survivors and attempt to Slipstream them to reform itself at their location. The Slipstream effect causes The Singularity to be able to materialize behind a Survivor, and immediately begin chase. A fully Slipstreamed Survivor will spread the effect to other nearby Survivors. Players will need to rethink their strategies, as The Singularity’s Power turns cooperation on its head. 

 

#### Hope is the best defense. 

**Gabriel Soma** is a skilled technician, responsible for taking care of the ships' lifepods and the people within, as well as the Huxlee hub on Toba Landing. He’s the lone Survivor of a doomed mission, and the only thing left standing before the delusions of The Singularity.  

In addition to his advanced dexterity and problem-solving ability, Gabriel can also use a tool called the **EMP**, which will be randomly located around a Map when facing The Singularity. The EMP can be used to temporarily disable the Killer’s BioPods or remove the Slipstream effect from other Survivors. 

 

#### Extraterrestrial style 

END TRANSMISSION brings two extraterrestrial Outfits for The Singularity and Gabriel Soma. The Singularity’s **Huxlee Hybrid** Cosmetic showcases more robotic matter assimilated into its body, while Gabriel Soma’s **E.V.A. Suit** Cosmetic decks him in protective gear fit for a Toba Landing rescue mission. Players will be able to enjoy more exciting Collections following END TRANSMISSION’s launch, ranging from new *Waterfront Massacre* Cosmetics, *Twisted Masquerade* Cosmetics and a daring futuristic collection.

Fear the unknown: Embark on Dead by Daylight’s first foray into space and sci-fi horror as END TRANSMISSION launches June 13  

**Montréal, Canada – June 13, 2023 –** END TRANSMISSION, Dead by Daylight’s newest Chapter, is finally here. Introducing sci-fi horror to The Fog, the Chapter features the terrifying new Killer The Singularity, a monstrous corrupted AI, and the resourceful Survivor Gabriel Soma. Players are invited to step into The Fog and discover the otherworldly planet on which the new Map Toba Landing is set. 

 

#### Survey and strike 

The Singularity can spy on Survivors anywhere on any Map with his special ability, Quantum Instantiation.  Once a Survivor is Slipstreamed, The Singularity can materialize behind them and strike. Slipstreamed Survivors can pass the effect onto other nearby Survivors, turning cooperation in Dead by Daylight on its head.

#### Scavenge & prosper 

Gabriel Soma has a few tricks up his sleeve to escape The Singularity. A skilled and manual explorer, the newest Survivor joining Dead by Daylight is the embodiment of human resilience. Sent by Huxlee Corporation, an enterprise responsible for seeking new worlds – and assimilating their resources – his quick thinking and technical intuition have helped Gabriel survive so far. The last man standing, he will give all he got to survive in the Entity’s Realm.   

 

#### Toba Landing  

Toba Landing is an otherworldly environment comprised of thick vegetation of an alien jungle. Players will need to adapt to the line of sights variations and find their way around Toba Landing to complete their objectives.  

Offering 4 different levels of verticality, Toba Landing is an unparalleled setting: its ground level features a mix of vegetation that permits players to not only navigate around the base, but under it as well. A large structure divided in an equipment storage area and a health & genetic area offers a higher point of view on the grounds. The last zone available is the roof of the base, giving players a unique vista over the entire Map.

Starting today, gaming fans and movie enthusiasts alike can personify the iconic actor Nicolas Cage in the Public Test Build, available only on **Steam**, as a destined Survivor fighting for his life in Dead by Daylight. #### A Thespian in the Entity’s Cage

The Xenomorph is the embodiment of the stealth Killer – quick and powerful, it can strike Survivors with its razor-sharp tail. The Xenomorph’s Power, called Crawler Mode, allows the Killer to walk on four legs and become stealthier, reducing its Terror Radius considerably. An icon of the horror and science fiction realm, it is the perfect deadly killer: surprising even the most resourceful Survivors and forcing them to “sign off”...  

> “What a gift to bring such an icon of horror into Dead by Daylight”, says Dave Richard, Creative Director for Dead by Daylight. “Its appearance is so striking, so fear-inducing in itself...but to have it in our game also delivering on horrifying surprise moments really opens the door for fun strategic gameplay. The Xenomorph’s arrival also introduces a new interactive Map function: Control Stations. Seven Control Stations are scattered across the Map. Survivors can interact with these stations to get a new Tool, the Remote Flame Turret, while the Xenomorph can enter and exit the tunnels underneath the Control Station.  
 

> “Creating the Xenomorph’s Tunnel system was very challenging as we had never created a sub- level that could only be accessible to the Killer”, explains Janick Neveu, Game Designer on Dead by Daylight. “This new mechanic grants it Map-wide mobility and definitely amps up the scare factor – which feels very connected to the original character.”  

 

##### The Ultimate Survivor 

As the sole survivor of the Nostromo, Ellen Ripley is strong-willed, level-headed, and determined. Having overcome relentless threats, she is the embodiment of resilience, making her an invaluable ally to any Survivor groups. She has faced the Xenomorph before and is now in the Entity’s hands. Her fate in this hostile place is still undecided – but there is hope.  

##### “Get out of there!” 

Surrounded by vast, overwhelming shadows, an omnipresent feeling of dread is imbued with the new Map, Nostromo Wreckage. The Entity has reconstructed the Nostromo spaceship from Ripley’s memories, so that players can stalk – or be stalked – around the derelict and nightmarish craft.  Players will rediscover the iconic ship as it incorporates memorable elements from the first Alien film with some unique Dead by Daylight twists.  

##### New Survivor Tool: The Remote Flame Turret 

Dead by Daylight: Alien introduces a new Survivor tool that can be used exclusively when facing the Xenomorph. The Remote Flame Turret’s defensive attack staggers the Xenomorph and can cause its unique Power to end. This tool complexifies gameplay as it requires Survivors to strategically place the Turret and activate it at the opportune time. Players will be kept on their toes as they will need to repair the tool if it overheats, and will be forced to protect it (and themselves) from the powerful Xenomorph, which can destroy the Turret. Who will make it out alive?

Dead by Daylight: Alien Brings A Legendary Franchise Into The Fog 

**Montréal, Canada – August 29, 2023 –** The legendary Alien franchise is now available in Dead by Daylight, pushing the boundaries of sci-fi horror to the depths of space. Starting today, players can stalk Survivors as **the Xenomorph** or survive as **Ellen Ripley**, the ultimate hero. Players will also get to explore a reinterpretation of the iconic ship from Ridley Scott’s classic film in the new Map: **Nostromo Wreckage**.

#### A wrecked vessel 

The Nostromo Wreckage is The Entity’s twisted recreation of the interstellar cargo ship from Ripley’s memories - a grim and hopeless place where its labyrinthine decks become a deathly nightmare. 
 

> “One of the biggest challenges of this Chapter was blending the world of Alien with the world of Dead by Daylight. We strived to honor the source material while respecting our gameplay and the universe we have built, and hope players will recognize - and appreciate – the familiar sights and twisted environmental tweaks from The Entity”, explains Chase Toole, Associate Artistic Director on Dead by Daylight.  

 

The Nostromo Wreckage also introduces a new exclusive feature: Steam Pipes. Whoever runs past a Steam Pipe will activate a short jet of steam. The steam can hit either Killer or Survivor, slowing them down for a few seconds. Survivors can interact with the Steam Pipe Panels to reset the pipe, allowing it to be used again.  

 

#### A perfect organism designed to kill 

An icon of horror and science fiction, the Xenomorph is one of the most recognizable characters in popular culture. 

 

> “The Xenomorph is truly one of the most mythical creatures ever created”, says Dave Richard, Senior Creative Designer on Dead by Daylight. “It taps into our fear of what lurks behind our reach, in the dark. The anxiety it creates is only amplified by its striking appearance. We couldn’t have hoped for a better fit to be added to our roster of impressive Killers.”  

 

 

#### Killer Add-On 
The Xenomorph adds to the meta with its exclusive Map Feature: Control Stations. 

Control Stations will appear on any Map when facing the Xenomorph. Several Control Stations are available during a Trial. Both the Xenomorph and Survivors can engage with them in different ways:  

 

- ##### SURVIVOR INTERACTIONS 

    Survivors must interact with Control Stations to generate a Special Item: a Remote Flame Turret, available only when facing the Xenomorph. These cylindrical weapons need to be picked up and placed strategically. Once the Xenomorph is within its proximity, the Turret will emit a sound, warning Survivors of its imminent flame deployment. The flame disables the Xenomorph’s Power, Crawler Mode, considerably reducing its stealth.  If employed for a prolonged period of time, a Turret can overheat and must be repaired by Survivors. The Xenomorph can also disable or destroy a Turret by hitting it once. 

 

- ##### KILLER INTERACTIONS 

    Control Stations are the gateway to a complex system of underground tunnels that can only be accessed by the Xenomorph. This System allows the Xenomorph to navigate between Control Stations across any Map in a matter of seconds. Inside the Tunnels, the Xenomorph can see Survivor footsteps above, in the form of ripple-like fluorescent impact points and hear the Generator repair sounds. When coming out of a Control Station, it can also detect any nearby Survivors – allowing it to navigate the Map with deadly efficacy.  
 

#### Always landing on her feet 

Ellen Ripley, warrant officer of the Nostromo, is capable and pragmatic. An iconic hero, she joins The Fog as a strong and level-headed Survivor.  

 

> “The fantasy of playing as Ripley is an incredible opportunity. Ripley has many tricks up her sleeves, with Perks that give her silent footsteps while running and trapping Pallets, making her a resourceful and powerful ally”, declares Janick Neveu, Game Designer for Dead by Daylight. “She offers an incredibly fun strategic counterplay that will certainly draw people in.” 

 

#### Apex Fashion 

With such an incredible Chapter launch, both the Xenomorph and Ellen Ripley will receive a slew of exciting Outfits reminiscent of the most iconic moments in the franchise’s history. The Xenomorph will receive the Xenomorph **Queen** Outfit (Legendary), which brings to life the Mother and Hive Leader – the highest of lifeforms; the **Grid Xenomorph** Outfit (Rare), which makes it a fierce opponent, scarred from combat, as well as the **Xenomorph Clone** Outfit (Very Rare), the wretched results of multiple genetic experiments. On the other hand, Ellen Ripley will receive the **Back in Action** Outfit (Very Rare), which evokes waking up to a new nightmare after nearly 60 years in stasis, as well as the **Ripley 8** Outfit (Very Rare), showcasing a clone of the original Ellen Ripley, combined with Xenomorph DNA.

#### Chapter 26 launches on November 22nd  2022 

 

**Montreal, Canada – November 01, 2022 –** The 26th Dead by Daylight Chapter, **Forged in Fog**, heads to a distant era. Players will have the chance to wreak havoc with a powerful new Killer: **The Knight**, or mount their next escape with new Survivor **Vittorio Toscano**, a scholar in search of elusive wisdom. This Chapter also includes a new Map, **The Shattered Square**, a ravaged village that fell to The Knight and his Guards.  

  

##### A Bygone Age of Iron and Stone 

 
A new genre of horror joins Dead by Daylight: medieval horror. 

> “This theme is uncharted territory in our universe,” explains Dave Richard, Creative Director for Dead by Daylight. “Bringing these two concepts to life has been thrilling and I am very proud of what we’ve accomplished.” These genre elements are evident throughout The Shattered Square, where the cinders of burnt buildings still glow, remnants of The Knight’s fateful visit...and since marked by the passage of The Entity.” 

 

##### Machiavellian Tactics 


**The Knight** is a calculating commander and formidable fighter, capable of cutting down anyone in his way. From a young age, The Knight learnt to wield weapons and gained the undying allegiance of three loyal Guards: **The Carnifex, The Assassin, and The Jailer**. Earning renown and notoriety for his martial exploits, he ascended to knighthood and set his sights on a dark campaign for dominion.  

The Knight’s Power, **Guardia Compagnia**, allows players to create a Patrol Path and summon an AI-controlled Guard, leaving a Standard Flag in position. Once summoned, that Guard can survey and patrol, hunt and chase Survivors, or damage Pallets and Generators. When a Survivor is spotted, the Guard will chase his prey for a finite amount of time or disappear once his target is wounded. The Survivor can outsmart a Guard by staying alive until the Hunt Timer ends, unhooking a fellow Survivor, or catching the Standard Flag when activated. 

Each Guard has their own special talent – but only one can be used at a time. Survivors will have to be extra careful about the whereabouts of both The Knight and his allies. Adaptative survival – *or slaying* - strategies are crucial.  

 


 

##### Keeper of Arcane Secrets 

Born into lordship, **Vittorio Toscano** is a scholar in search of ancient secrets and obscurities. He has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, driven by a relentless quest to bring peace, harmony, and order to the world. After many expeditions, Vittorio encountered The Knight. While their relationship was initially mutually beneficial, things changed once The Knight revealed his true intentions…. 

> “Vittorio is obsessed with finding the secret to travelling between planes of existence,” explains Dave Richard. “He personally hired The Knight as his protector during an expedition. Things certainly... turned sour between the two. It’s always fun when the Survivor and Killer are linked narratively. We can't wait for players to delve deeper into the lore that unites them.”  

Vittorio’s appearance bears marks of suffering and hard-earned wisdom. His body is covered in strange symbols that glow in a mysterious turquoise light, as if imbued with arcane energy. The mysteries of their origin – *and their meaning* – will be revealed in time…

Dead by Daylight™  Welcomes Two New Enigmatic Figures from Another Time

**Montreal, Canada – November 22, 2022 –** With its latest Chapter, **Forged in Fog**, Dead by Daylight turns back time to explore a genre new to the long-running franchise: medieval horror. Players are invited to embody both the brutality and nobility of this bygone age with a new Killer, **The Knight**, who brings fresh strategic gameplay to The Fog, and new Survivor, **Vittorio Toscano**, a mysterious wanderer of realms. Forged in Fog also includes the release of a new Map, **The Shattered Square**, set among the smoldering ruins of a ransacked medieval village.  

 

#### A Whole New World 

 

Players hungry to explore a new Realm within the Dead by Daylight universe will have plenty to look forward to in **The Shattered Square** Map, where Forged in Fog’s medieval themes come to life in detail. This once-thriving village now lies in ruin; burnt, decayed, and reduced to a dark fragment of history by The Knight and his accomplices. Smoke and death hang thick in the air. Demolished buildings litter the landscape. The market at the village center is now little more than a silent graveyard of toppled carts. Adding to the atmosphere, familiar elements of gameplay have also been brought into the dark ages, with Pallets, Breakable Walls, and even iron-forged Exit Gates updated to match the setting.  

 

Killer mains will have the opportunity to don a suit of bloodstained armor, raise their longswords and terrorize Survivors as the brutal, calculating new Killer, The Knight. Born Tarhos Kovacs, The Knight entered into the service of Lord Vittorio Toscano, ultimately betraying him in favor of his own dark plans. One of the most physically imposing Killers on the Dead by Daylight roster, The Knight’s unique Power, the **Guardia Compagnia** also makes him one of the most strategic. He can call on his 3 loyal AI-controlled Guards, **The Carnifex, The Assassin, and The Jailer** – each possessing their own unique qualities – to patrol the Map or carry out certain tasks, forcing Survivors to face off against multiple threats orchestrated by The Knight. 

 

The new Survivor, **Vittorio Toscano** offers an ideological opposite as a man of peace, and a scholar on a quest to uncover arcane secrets for the greater good. Following his betrayal and torture at the hands of Tarhos Kovacs, he was pulled into The Entity’s Realm where untold years of exploration in The Fog have forged him into an exemplary leader with a fearless disposition.  

 

#### A Door Opens To A New Collection 

 

To celebrate medieval horror’s arrival in Dead by Daylight, this latest Chapter’s release will be accompanied by exclusive Outfits for Vittorio Toscano and The Knight as part of the **Forged in Fog Collection**, available now. The Very Rare **Arcane Ink** Outfit for Vittorio Toscano puts the mysterious glowing tattoos adorning his torso on full display. Distinct leather trousers and a collection of ancient amulets round out the ensemble. The Knight’s already terrifying appearance is ratcheted to new heights with the Ultra Rare **Enchanted Plates** Outfit that sees him clad in ancient mystical armor emblazoned with ominous glowing runes.

Dead by Daylight™ Delves into Medieval Horror with its New Chapter: Forged in Fog, Available Now 

**Montreal, Canada – October 11th 2022 –** It’s the most frightening time of the year: Halloween has come to Dead by Daylight. 

Players will get to experience the Hall of Fame of Horror under an ominous new light... and find out why the Entity’s Realm is the best place to get scared, to get hooked and hopefully, to escape and start all over again. Players can join the festive Haunted by Daylight celebrations, which starts on October 11th and closes on November 3rd.  The Haunted by Daylight festivities will kick off with the release of the anticipated store Collections , while the newest Archive Tome will be released on October 12th. Lastly the sought-after in-game Halloween event will be live on October 13th   

The Haunted by Daylight in-game event, accessible from October 13th to November 3rd, will allow players to take advantage of a slew of horrifying cosmetics to unlock, the Fog’s unsettling atmosphere, and intense challenges! The Dead by Daylight lobby & loading screens will be decked with fearsome pumpkins and frightful decorations, Players will also experience a new gameplay, requiring them to gather and steal “Void Energy”. Lastly, daily login rewards will be available, encouraging players to connect to the game every day. 

Dead by Daylight will also hold a Free Weekend from October 27th to November 1st, so that more players can join in on the fun and experience why Dead by Daylight is the place to be for Halloween. 

#### A New Tome: MALEVOLENCE 

A new Rift opens on October 12th and with it a new Tome which features memories for beloved Killer **Ghost Face®**, and Survivor **Mikaela Reid**. Players will have the chance to plummet into the devious mind behind the mask and discover what keeps a horror aficionado up at night with Tome 13: MALEVOLENCE. They'll be able to dive into **Ghost Face®**’s memories, as a local cartoonist parodies him in the local papers. OBVIOUSLY, this won’t stand.  

> “The Fog turns into a twisted playground for Horror fan favourite Ghost Face®, and we're happy to include him in our Halloween festivities, says Dave Richard, Creative Director for Dead by Daylight.  “Ghost Face® is a particularly terrifying enemy – being able to stalk his prey – and dedicated to striking Survivors down before they know what hits them and to have him as part of the Rift is a treat!”

#### More Treats from the Dead by Daylight Store  

Costumes are mandatory on Halloween; therefore, players are invited to dress their favorite Killers and Survivors in their snazziest attire with new Outfits from the *Hallowed Blight Collection* and the limited-time *Tricks and Treats Collection*, available from October 11th to November 3rd. The *Midnight Grove Collection* will make a comeback during this time as well with two new Very Rare Outfits for **Mikaela Reid** and **The Doctor**. 

The Hallowed Blight Collection – a creepy metamorphosis that occurs from within – features two Very Rare Outfits - for **The Oni** and **Albert Wesker**, The Mastermind. The **Blighted Wesker** Outfit looks right out of a terrifying biohazardous experiment gone wrong.  

Nobody could predict the complex interactions that would occur between the serum and Uroboros, but that didn’t stop Albert Wesker from testing the Blighted serum on himself. This interaction caused Wesker to transform into a further transformed humanoid. 

**The Oni**’s **Bursting with Fury** Outfit emphasizes the character’s rage. His overwhelming strength made him a priority candidate for testing the Blighted serum. The searing pain of the experiment, more than anything, made his rage even more potent.

Dead by Daylight™ Kicks Off its Halloween Celebrations with Haunted by Daylight 

**Montréal, Canada—August 3, 2022—** The time has come. Dead by Daylight announces today that its next Chapter, out soon, will be the highly anticipated second installment of its collaboration with iconic franchise Resident Evil™. Dead by Daylight: Resident Evil: PROJECT W features a new Killer, villain extraordinaire **Albert Wesker**, known in-game as The Mastermind. Two new Survivors are also stepping into The Fog: **Ada Wong** and **Rebecca Chambers**. With this release, fans will also be treated to a map-rework of the **Raccoon City Police Department**. 

#### The Prodigal Return 
In June of 2021, Behaviour Interactive teamed up with Capcom to bring the emblematic Resident Evil characters Nemesis, Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy to Dead by Daylight, giving life to one of the game’s most acclaimed Chapters. This also marked the first time that zombies were introduced in-game, as AI-assistants to The Nemesis.   

> “Welcoming the legendary characters from Resident Evil into our universe last year has been a huge milestone for Dead by Daylight,” explains Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnership for Behaviour Interactive. “Capcom are at the root of all survival horror in video games and we are humbled to be able to continue to honor that legacy with a new Chapter.” 

#### A Powerful Force 
This year’s iteration is another opportunity to continue expanding the Resident Evil story within the Dead by Daylight universe and to dig deep into the backstories of a new supervillain and two heroes. 

Enigmatic and unpredictable, **Ada Wong** is a complete mystery; her true goal as elusive as she is. Her survival skills make her a valuable ally…only if her interests remain aligned. **Rebecca Chambers**, is a talented and gifted young woman who joined the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team as a field medic at the young age of 18 years old. An asset on any mission, Rebecca will go to great lengths to save a teammate in need – even at the risk of her own life.    

 

Those who prefer to play as Killer will have their share of excitement as they embody Resident Evil’s very own **Albert Wesker**. A visionary as brilliant as he is ruthless, he was a high-ranking official for Umbrella Corporation with bigger and bolder plans for his peers. Believing that humanity was at a dead-end, he injected himself with the Prototype Virus to transcend mortal limits. Armed with superhuman strength and a desire to eliminate the weak, he created a powerful virus weapon: Uroboros. Wesker’s Power Virulent Bound allows him to rush forward at an incredible speed, grabbing anyone that stands in his path and infecting them with the Uroboros. Survivors may find relief through First Aid Spray bottles peppered throughout the Map, though these come in limited quantities and will only delay the inevitable.

#### Raccoon City Police Department Revisited 

In addition to stepping into the shoes of these famed characters, players will also get to revisit the quintessential Resident Evil experience by exploring the improved **Raccoon City Police Department** Map. Launched in 2021, the Map has gone through a complete quality of life update in response to feedback from players and fans.  

 
Moving forward, the Raccoon City Police Department will be split into two separate Maps built around the West and East wings, experiencing a considerable reduction in size. The Main Hall will remain a consistent presence on both maps, retaining its original layout. And now, it’s far easier to take the action outside, with additional access to the frontal exterior section. Each version of the Map features a different arrangement of rooms. In the West Wing, players will find the S.T.A.R.S. Office, the Dark Room, the Records Rooms, among others. In the East Wing, navigate the Chief’s Office, the Art Room, the Rooftop, and many more. While the two-floor layout will be preserved, navigation will be simpler than ever. We’ve added plenty of new entrances, widened the many corridors, and removed several extraneous rooms – including the library’s infamous second floor.

Starting today, players can step into the Fog as **Albert Wesker**, **Ada Wong** and **Rebecca Chambers** as the highly anticipated second installment of the Dead by Daylight™ and Resident Evil™ partnership takes flight. To celebrate the release of the Dead by Daylight: Resident Evil™: PROJECT W Chapter, players are also treated to a rework of the iconic **Raccoon City Police Department** Map. They will also be able to get their hands on the impressive new Outfits from the **PROJECT W Collection**, which include the **Carlos Oliveira**,** Sheva Alomar** and **Hunk Legendary Sets** for Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine and The Legion, respectively. 

Killer mains will be able to step into the shoes of the nefarious **Albert Wesker**, known in game as The Mastermind. A true icon of the Resident Evil franchise, Wesker is easily recognizable with his sleek blond hair, signature sunglasses, leather trench coat – and of course, his piercing orange eyes. Once a high-ranking official for Umbrella Corporation, his ambition and sense of moral superiority led him to create a powerful weaponized virus: Uroboros. Wesker’s Power, **Virulent Bound**, allows him to rush forward at an incredible speed, grabbing anyone that stands in his path and infecting them with Uroboros. Though he may appear cool and composed, his explosive power is unmatched. 

Two Survivors are making their marks in the Entity’s Realm. Enigmatic and unpredictable, **Ada Wong** is a complete mystery; her true goal as elusive as she is. Her survival skills make her a valuable ally…provided interests remain aligned. **Rebecca Chambers** is a talented and gifted young woman who joined the S.T.A.R.S. Starting today, players will also be able to set foot in the improved **Raccoon City Police Department** Map. Launched in 2021, the Map has undergone a complete quality of life update in response to player feedback. From now on, the **Raccoon City Police Department** will be split into two separate variations built around the West and East Wings, with both including the Main Hall. Additionally, more navigational paths have been added inside and outside of the building, leading to improved level design flow and gameplay.

#### Meet Your Maker – Overview 

*Meet Your Maker* is a post-apocalyptic first-person building-and-raiding game where every level is designed by players for players. Gameplay revolves around the creation and infiltration of stand-alone levels called Outposts. Players will switch between roles as they mastermind devious maze-like Outposts filled with traps and guards, then gear up for methodical fast-paced combat raiding other players’ creations.  



#### Lore and Gameplay 

In this dying world, players take on the role of the Custodian, servant to the Chimera: a living experiment created as a last resort to save life on Earth. They’ll enter a tactical battle for the planet’s most coveted resource and the key to the Chimera’s evolution: pure Genetic Material (GenMat). But acquiring it won’t be easy. Players will need to build and fortify maze-like Outposts that extract and guard the precious GenMat, or infiltrate and outsmart other players’ creations to gather more. With every Outpost in the game built by players, user-generated content is the driving force of the experience.  

 

- **Create to Destroy**: Builders must create Outposts designed to lure, outwit, and kill trespassing players. To do so, they’ll combine a huge array of customizable blocks, traps, and guards as they strategically construct their deadly masterpiece.  

- **Outwit to Survive**: Players will also need to raid the Outposts created by others. Each Outpost will test their grit, wit, and reflexes as they try to get in, grab the GenMat, and make it out alive. No two Outposts will ever be the same, making for a highly replayable experience. 

- **Cooperate and Connect**: Those looking to play together can combine their creativity and build with a friend or join forces to raid Outposts as a team of two. 

- **Unlock and upgrade**: Players can invest collected GenMat to grow their arsenal of traps, guards, weapons, suits and more.

#### The lethal toolbox expands June 27th, available for free on PC, PlayStation and Xbox 

**Montréal, CA, 20 Juin 2023 —** Independent Canadian game developer Behaviour Interactive is excited to reveal its first major content update for Meet Your Maker which will be available June 27th on all platforms. Sector 1: Dreadshore will introduce a new environment and expand the game's toolbox of traps, guards, weapons, suits, and blocks to give players more ways than ever to engineer or evade death. To celebrate the launch of this game-changing content, the Meet Your Maker team will offer players the chance to claim the DLC’s Arsenal Pack for free during the first two weeks following release, until July 10th 11:59PM EDT.

#### Build and raid in a completely new environment 

 

The new DLC will enhance the game’s co-op and single-player experience with a foggy, menacing new environment for players to immerse themselves in. Far from the Red Sands, on the murky remains of the New England coastline lies Dreadshore, home to a sinister Sanctuary situated in a repurposed lighthouse. Beneath its surface, a vast network of prisons and laboratories were built where unspeakable scientific experiments were conducted on hundreds of captive clones. 

 

This new environment, with its gloomy, oppressive coastal flourishes, will be visually unlike anything seen before in Meet Your Maker. It arrives with a new themed Deco Pack, and an Arsenal Pack which includes a new Custodian, trap, guard, and weapon: 

 

##### 1- NEW DECO PACK: Tempest Cove 

 

- Players will be able to build Outposts using a brand-new free deco pack that matches the visual themes of the Dreadshore. Rusted metal railings, water-damaged wood, bellows that fill and deflate, and a set of decals featuring the salt-worn designs of a coastal shelter will give Builders the freedom to create a completely new atmosphere for their Outposts. 

 

##### 2- NEW CUSTODIAN: Nautilus 

 

- A Custodian suit with disturbing origins tied to the Dreadshore will also be available to players. According to local urban legend, Nautilus was said to have emerged from the lighthouse Sanctuary, dripping blood, wearing what resembled an ancient diving suit. With its hulking profile, this new Custodian suit enhances the effects of defensive weaponry, giving players a whole new way to approach challenging Outposts. 

 

##### 3- NEW TRAP : Sentry Beam 

 

- Builders will also gain a brand-new trap, complete with mods, that opens the door to incredible new kills and darkly-creative trap combos. 

- The Sentry Beam, developed to contain the lighthouse Sanctuary's prisoners, uses motion tracking to lock onto a target and emit a narrow beam of super-heated amplified light. The trap’s rapid delivery makes it an excellent choice for engaging fast moving targets. Should the beam miss its mark, it will ricochet multiple times, providing even more opportunity for a kill. 

 

##### 4- NEW GUARD : Ravager 

 

- A vicious new guard, the Ravager, will be introduced for both Builders to command, and Raiders to contend with.   

  

- A disturbing byproduct of the lighthouse Sanctuary’s genetic experiments, The Ravager simultaneously fires several projectiles in a scattershot attack that’s more difficult to evade than a single bolt. 

 

##### 5- NEW WEAPON: Demolition Cannon 

 

- Raiders will gain another powerful weapon to add to their loadout when braving Meet Your Maker’s toughest Outposts. Powerful and portable, the Demolition Cannon delivers an explosive payload in a reusable shell for a localized blast that causes tremendous damage.

This new update doesn’t just introduce fresh new ways to build and raid deadly fortresses, it also comes with several quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes to make Meet Your Maker even better: 

   - For starters, the game will now recognize kills against Raiders who force quit or otherwise disconnect from the game, giving Builders a more accurate representation of how deadly their base is; 
  - Another highly requested improvement gives Builders the ability to refill Prestige 10 bases forever and keep them online;  
  - Other notable updates include a rebalancing of ranking tiers, updated tutorials, and Phoenix Pods being added to player’s inventory by default.

**Montréal, QC – March 30th, 2023 -** As Meet Your Maker gears up for its multiplatform launch on Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on April 4th, Behaviour is excited to announce today its plans on supporting Meet Your Maker for the long-term by unveiling the first three months of the post-launch content roadmap.

#### New Deco Pack: Hellscape (Free / Instant Access) 

A few weeks after launch, Meet Your Maker will inject a totally new aesthetic into the game with the addition of the Hellscape Deco Pack, a free Deco Pack update. 

 

Combining organic matter and industrial materials to eerie effect, pulsing animations and sinister lighting will make players feel as though they’re raiding inside a living organism.  

  

The **Hellscape Deco Pack** includes:  

- 2 Blocks (each available in 3 shapes) 
-  2 Props  
- 1 Animated Prop 
- 8 Decals  

 

#### New Mods and Augments (Free / Unlockable with playtime) 

Rolling out as multiple releases over Meet Your Maker’s first several months, players will be able to unlock new Mod and Augment additions for existing traps and guards. Each new Mod or Augment will be added directly to the trap or guard Advisor station and will be unlockable via playtime using in-game currency. 

 

Builders will suddenly gain new ways to affect their traps and guards, giving them even more control over their setups and combos to outsmart Raiders. For Raiders, just when they think they’ve gotten things figured out, they’ll face more challenges to overcome. 

   


#### Major Content Update - Sector 1: Dreadshore 

 

If you thought the world of Meet Your Maker was confined to the deserts of the Red Sands, think again. Arriving in late June 2023, Meet Your Maker will take players beyond the desert with our first major content update, **Sector 1: Dreadshore**. 

 

For starters, a new environment and a new deco pack will be instantly available for free to all players as soon as the update is released. The environment introduces a new region of Meet Your Maker post-apocalyptic world where players will be able to build using a new Sector-themed set of building blocks designed to create a completely different style of Outpost.  

 
> “We will also release 4 gameplay elements all of which are unlockable by playing Meet Your Maker. Meet Your Maker is a post-apocalyptic first-person building-and-raiding game where every level is designed by players for players.

Behaviour Interactive, the largest Canadian video game developer, today announced its acquisition of the Netherlands’ Codeglue, an award-winning game developer. Behaviour’s third European expansion in the last six months will further increase the company’s access to the continent’s historically rich pool of gaming talent.

Behaviour Interactive Acquires award-winning Codeglue

Behaviour Interactive’s $2-million gift to the Campaign for Concordia to spur innovation for Quebec’s video game industry

Behaviour doesn’t just make world-class games – we also do some world-class fundraising for local charities.

In April, members of our team pledged a company best $170,000 for charity during Behaviour’s annual internal fundraising campaign for charity, **BeGenerous**. Of this total, $125,000 will support the vital work being done by the organizations Perspectives Jeunesse and Centraide of Greater Montreal with kids at risk of quitting school. The balance will support a variety of causes and organizations selected by employees. 

Launched in 2000, BeGenerous raises funds through a variety of internal activities and initiatives, including the always popular Live Auction, which raised nearly $24,000 over one thrill-filled hour. Other activities included a karaoke night, a flea market, lunch & learns, a trivia night, a 50/50 raffle, and a video game competition (of course!). 

Behaviour’s support for school perseverance initiatives is rooted in our belief that education provides the tools to think critically, make informed decisions, and lead a healthy, happy life. This support is part of a wider commitment to Education under our Corporate Social Responsibility agenda, alongside Health and Sustainability. In 2022, Behaviour contributed $1.1 million in corporate donations to non-profit organizations and institutions working in these and other sectors.

Canadian Gaming Leader Behaviour Interactive Acquires Award-Winning SockMonkey Studios

The [GamesIndustry.biz](https://www.gamesindustry.biz/events/best-places-to-work-awards-canada-2022) **Best Places To Work Awards** are the only workplace recognition program to celebrate employer excellence specifically for the video games industry. This is the second year that the UK-based program has dedicated an award for Canadian studios, and the second time that Behaviour has made the winners list. 

GamesIndustry.biz unveiled the winners today alongside the MEGAMIGS video game conference in Montreal.

GamesIndustry.biz names Behaviour one of Canada’s Best Places to Work

Behaviour’s recognition among Canada’s **2023 Best Workplaces for Women**, as revealed today by the Great Place to Work Institute, is especially welcome news as we mark International Women’s Day. 

The Institute’s annual Best Workplaces for Women list is determined based on the results of an independent employee survey, known as the Trust Index. At least 90% of survey respondents must agree that their employer treats people fairly regardless of gender and the best workplaces are determined based on the average Trust Index score from women employees.

Behaviour named a Best Workplace for Women

Behaviour’s success hinges on our employees’ confidence in our Executive Team and that trust was made clear in a recent independent employee survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute.

The findings earned Behaviour a place on the Institute’s new list of **Best Workplaces with Most Trusted Executive Teams**, which recognizes Executive Teams that have excelled in their management abilities.


To be eligible for this list, organizations must be Great Place to Work-certified in the past year and score exceptionally high on survey statements related to leadership effectiveness and confidence in their Executive Teams.

Behaviour Interactive’s commitment to offering its employees a world-class work environment where work-life balance rules has been recognized once again by the **Great Place to Work Institute**.

The global authority on workplace culture recertified Behaviour as a Great Place to Work for 2022-2023 following its independent survey of the studio’s employees and the findings of a culture brief that requested details on Behaviour’s employee benefits and perks such as Paid Time Off, sick days, and family support.

Based on the employee survey, Behaviour emerged with a Trust Index Score of 91%. The threshold to qualify as a Great Place to Work is a Trust Index Score of 65%. To the survey question, “Taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work,” an incredible 94% of Behaviour employees agreed.

Behaviour ranked 13th out of Canada’s 50 Best Workplaces with 1,000 or more employees. More than 800 companies vied for a coveted spot on this list.

The remaining 25 per cent is based on the quality, quantity and effectiveness of the programs and policies that support an organization’s employees and corporate culture.
