Gaming for Good: Behaviour Interactive mobilizes its global player community to support pediatric care in Quebec

MONTREAL, July 7, 2025 – In an inspiring fusion of gaming and philanthropy, Behaviour Interactive is proud to announce that its iconic horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight, has raised a remarkable $329,957 CAD for the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation as part of the hospital’s Voir Grand campaign.

Throughout May, Dead by Daylight players from around the world rallied to support children’s health. The community showed their support in two meaningful ways: by purchasing in-game cosmetics created for Orela Rose, Dead by Daylight’s newest Survivor and first-ever first responder, and by successfully healing teammates during matches, transforming in-game teamwork into real-world impact.

All profits from the sales were donated directly to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation, Quebec’s leading pediatric hospital and research center.

''We’re deeply grateful for the chance to support the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation’s important mission," stated Remi Racine, CEO of Behaviour Interactive. "The success of this campaign demonstrates how collective action can result in real impact. Seeing Dead by Daylight's community come together around such a meaningful cause fills us with pride. Thank you to all our players for your support and commitment. This is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together, and it’s an initiative we hope to renew in the future.''

From hospital wards to home consoles, this collaboration is a powerful example of how video games can drive real-world impact. The funds raised will go toward vital medical projects that improve care and outcomes for thousands of children and their families across Quebec.

“We are grateful to Behaviour Interactive and the Dead by Daylight community for turning creativity and play into tangible support for pediatric care,” says Delphine Brodeur, CEO at CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation.

As a proudly Montreal-based studio, Behaviour Interactive is committed to using its platform to uplift causes related to health, education, and inclusion. This initiative is a testament to what’s possible when local talent, global reach, and community spirit come together.
